Microsoft Surface is an important part of the end to end solutions we build on the Microsoft Citizen Services Platform. We envision Microsoft Surface being used both by decision makers in the boardroom and by citizens in public places like libraries.

Microsoft Surface has the potential to revolutionize the way governments interact with digital information during meetings such as zoning and planning. In a typical meeting attendees are directed to view a series of static maps and information that are projected onto a screen.

With Microsoft Surface meeting attendees can interact with data simultaneously in a way that encourages face to face collaboration.
