A. Yes

 

Q. Is WSS 3.0 included with Windows Server 2008?

 

A. No.  WSS is only available as a separate download

 

Q. Is WSS still free?

 

A. Yes

 

Q. If I already have the WSS 3.0 installer media can I install it on Windows Server 2008?

 

A. You have to have the installer that bundles WSS 3.0 and SP1 together.   WSS 3.0 without SP1 will not install on Windows Server 2008.
