The website (www.federalreporting.gov) for collecting ARRA grant information from recipients was launched this week, on schedule.   Registration is now open for the three groups who will use the site:

• Federal agencies that award or disburse Recovery grants
• Prime recipients of grants
• Subrecipients who receive funding from prime recipients

Vendors are responsible for reporting to the prime or sub recipients.

Each of the reporting entities will register using their Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number from Dun & Bradstreet and also the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) registration.

Prime recipients may report on behalf of sub recipients or may delegate the reporting to sub recipients. 

Starting October 1, the reports may be submitted through an online form, uploading an Excel file, or uploading an XML file in conformance with specifications published by OMB.
